హైదరాబాద్ (సెప్టెంబర్ ) రంగారెడ్డి జిల్లాలోని బండ్లగూడ పరిధిలో ఉన్నటువంటి బిర్లా ఓపెన్ మైండ్్ పాఠశాలలో తెలంగాణ భాషా దినోత్సవ వేడుకలు ఘనంగా జరిగాయి. సెప్టెంబర్ 9 సెలవు దినం కారణంగా సెప్టెంబర్ 13 వ తేదీన ఈ వేడుకలు జరపాలని పాఠశాల యాజమాన్యం సూచించింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా విద్యార్థులు తెలంగాణ భాష గొప్పదనాన్ని వివరిస్తూ ఉపన్యాసాలు, నృత్య ప్రదర్శనలు, పాటలు, పొడుపు కథలు మొదలైన కార్యక్రమాలతో అందరినీ అలరించారు. కర్ణాటక సంగీత ఉపాధ్యాయునిగా పని చేస్తున్న శ్రీ. శ్రీనివాసచారిగారు ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా విచ్చేశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా భాషాపరంగా తెలంగాణ ప్రజల్లో చైతన్యం కలిగించిన కాళోజీ నారాయణరావు గురించి తెలియజేయడమే కాక, తన గీతాలాపనతో శ్రోతలందర్నీ ఆకట్టుకున్నారు. అనంతరం పాఠశాల ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులైన శ్రీ. ప్రేమ్ ప్రకాష్ సాహుగారు, శ్రీనివాసచారి గారికి తమ పాఠశాల జ్ఞాపికను ప్రదానం చేశారు.

टी. जे. रेखा रानी जी की उपस्थि ति नेसमारोह मेंचार - चाँद लगा दि या I वि द्यालय में आयोजि त कार्यक्रर्य म में“देश मेंहि दं ी भाषा का महत्व व सस्ं क ृ ति मेंयोगदान” वि षय पर हमारी मख् ु य अति थि श्रीमती प्रो. टी. जे. रेखा रानी जी नेऔर छात्रों नेअपनेवि चार प्रकट कि ए। हमारी मख् ु य अति थि नेसमारोह को सम्बोधि त करतेह ु ए बताया कि हि दं ी देश को जोड़नेवाली भाषा है। 14 सि तंबर को देश भर मेंहि दं ी दि वस मनाया जाता है। आजादी मि लनेके दो साल बाद 14 सि तबरं 1949 को सविं विधान सभा मेंएक मत सेहि दं ी को राजभाषा घोषि त कि या गया था और इसके बाद सेहर साल 14 सि तम्बर को हि दं ी दि वस के रूप मेंमनाया जानेलगा। देश की स्वतंत्रता और वि कास मेंहि दं ी भाषा का अहम योगदान है। हि दं ी सेही हि दं है। वि श्व की सबसे बड़ी भाषा हि दं ी है। उन्होंनेकहा कि अब हि दं ी राष्ट्र भाषा की गंगा सेवि श्व भाषा का महासागर बन रही है। वि द्यार्थि यर्थि ों को आधनि ु निकता सेअलग होकर हि न्दी की रोचकता और महत्ता को जाननेपहचाननेकी जरूरत है। आज हि दं ी भारत मेंही नहींबल्कि वि श्व भर मेंबोली समझी जानेवाली वि श्व भाषाओंमेंअपनी पहचान स्थापि त कर चक ु ी हैऔर शब्दों की सख्ं या के आधार पर भी वि श्व की सबसेबड़ी भाषा हि दं ी बन गई है।आज वि द्यार्थि यर्थि ों के बीच अग्रं ेजी भाषा के प्रति बढ़तेलगाव और हि दं ी भाषा की अनदेखी करनेकी वजह सेहि दं ी प्रेमी बेहद नि राश हैं। यही वजह हैकि हर साल देशभर के लोगों को अपनी राष्ट्रभाषा के प्रति जागरूक करनेके लि ए हि दं ी दि वस मनाया जाता है। भारत मेंभलेही अग्रं ेज़ी बोलना सम्मान की बात मानी जाती हो, पर वि श्व के बह ु सख्ं यक देशों मेंअग्रं ेज़ी का इतना महत्त्व नहीं है।
हि दं ी को बह ु त सरल भाषा कहा जाता है। हि दं ी कोई भी बह ु त आसानी सेसीख सकता है। हि दं ी अति उदार, समझ मेंआनेवाली सहि ष्ण ु भाषा होनेके साथ भारत की राष्ट्रीय चेतना की सवं ाहि का भी है।
इस मौके पर छोटे- छोटेछात्रों नेनारेलगाए , "हि न्द देश के नि वासी" कवि ता का गान कि या ,कक्षा तीसरी और चौथी की छात्राओंनेनत्ृ य भी प्रस्ततु कि या, पहेलि याँऔर स्कि ट (प्रहसन) आदि कई रोचक कार्यक्रर्य म कि येह ु येI अतं में,समारोह का समापन करतेह ु ए उपस्थि त प्रधानाचार्य,र्य मख् ु य अति थि और समारोह मेंउपस्थि त सभी लोगो का " धन्यवाद " कि या गया , जि न्होंनेइस हि दं ी दि वस समारोह मेंउपस्थि त हो कर समारोह के कार्यक्रर्य म को सफल बनाया। --कीर्ति सिहं
Every year Children’s Day is celebrated across India in the memory of our first Prime Minister Pdt. JawaharLal Nehru whose immense love for children is known world-wide. To make our children feel special this year Birla Open Minds School, BandlagudaJagir Hyderabad celebrated Children’s Day in the school campus with full zeal and zest. Utmost care was taken for the students who were in School with COvid-19 Health and Sanitization protocol. The same fun was arranged for online students who were invited to watch online through “YouTube Live Broadcast”.
Though the morning seemed gloomy with dark clouds and drizzle, it did not continue to trouble much defeated by the enthusiasm of the student gathering. The formal programme started in the morning with a calming and mindful Assembly, where the students, staff and the Principal spoke about the importance and significance of celebrating Children’s Day.
This was followed by an interesting “Magical Show” which gathered lots of claps, sounds and adulation. The children were delighted to see the magician performing so mesmerizingly. Besides, there were fun games for all the grades which the children enjoyed and played with their hearts out.
It was followed by Class photograph and Prize distribution for the winners and also small refreshment as token of happiness. It was indeed memorable for one and all.
Raksha Bandhan was celebrated virtually with great enthusiasm. Students dressed up in the colourful traditional wear. They showed keen interest in the occasion. The day started with the interactive session between the teacher and the students about the Importance of the Raksha Bandhan.
The students were explained through “presentation” about the importance of the festival which strengthens the ties between brothers and sisters. Students were familiarized with the customs and rituals followed on Raksha Bandhan. To mark the occasion of Raksha Bandhan children also excitedly took part in Rakhi making activity. At last children enjoyed the sweets together.
Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. Lord Krishna always emphasized on justice and truth. He always fought against evil.
To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated on 27-8-2021. The students participated with a lot of enthusiasm by dressing up as lord Krishna and Radha, with flutes, peacock feathers and matkas. The life history of lord Krishna was explained through ppt and videos. A lot of fun-filled activities like Shloka narration, singing and mesmerizing dance performance were given by the students. There was a live set up of Krishna swinging in a cradle and enjoying his favourite food butter. Students were overwhelmed watching this set up. Children thoroughly enjoyed the celebration; they decorated pots with glitters, paints and cotton. Students were told about important festivals that are celebrated are our country’s tradition and culture. These celebrations brought children together and developed social skills. The celebration ended with a lot of excitement in the kids
The purpose of Grandparent’s Day is to honor grandparents and to give grandparents an opportunity to show love for their children's children. Celebration of this day, helps the younger generation to make an extra effort to express their love for their grandparents, celebrating and showing their gratitude towards them. Grandparents play an important role in upbringing of their grandchild.
They provide selfless love and care to their grandchildren and they are a blessing from God. The best companions any child can wish for is Grandparents with whom they can enjoy their small moments.
Grandparents’ Day was celebrated on 8-9-2022 with our tiny ones with a lot of enthusiasm and happiness. The event started with a welcome speech by teacher. Most grandparents introduced themselves and spoke about their grandchild. There were fun filled games conducted like tailing the animal, one minute games like sorting the seeds, inserting straws into each other. The photobooth was wonderfully utilised by both the grandparent and the grandchild to gave them an opportunity to showcase their aesthetic skills.They cherished the time and the moment with the grandchildren. Every moment was made memorable with their presence. The emotions and affection for their grandchild was reflected in their words. The event ended with a dance and vote of thanks with a lot of fun and entertainment.

Grandparents provide selfless love and care to their grandchildren. Grandparents are the blessing of God. Grandparents are the best company for their grandchildren.
Grandparents’ Day was celebrated on 17-9-2021 with a lot of enthusiasm and happiness. The event started with a welcome speech by children, followed by lighting the lamp and presenting a bouquet. The event continued by presenting beautiful cards made by children. There were games and quizzes conducted. Few grandparents got an opportunity to express their experiences as grandparents. The event ended with a dance and vote of thanks and with a lot of fun and entertainment.
Festivals are celebrated to unite people together, share the happiness and to strengthen the bond between them. In school festivals are being celebrated to raise awareness among children about the culture and tradition of our country.
Keeping in mind the ongoing scenario the celebration was done virtually. Teachers narrated the stories of Lord Ganesh and described the importance of the day. PPT regarding the festival was shared among students and prepared paper cup Ganesh as craft, though it was a virtual celebration. The atmosphere was divine and spiritual. Let Lord Ganesh remove all the obstacles from our lives. Students recited shlokas, they showcase their creativity by drawing Ganesh images using colours, made Ganesh with green leaves. To add more essence to the celebration they relished Ladoos and created a festival environment being online. It was amazing to watch students participating in all the activities of festivals. The events ended with a lot of energy, enthusiasm and fun enjoyed by the kids.
The day commenced with a surprise for children by their dear teacher who was dressed up as a corn seller. Kids were immensely excited. Children asked many questions from their teacher. Further, kids dressed in yellow and green attire having snacks made with corn. Kids were presented with a ppt which covered the journey of Corn from the farm to the table. It enlightened children about sowing and harvesting of corn along with its health benefits.
Recipe of corn chat was also shared with our tiny tots. Children pasted crumpled yellow colour paper on corn outline. Fun continued for the day as kids danced and sang rhymes related to corn, and watched a story. Children became knowledgeable and enjoyed thoroughly. Day was filled with lots of fun and excitement.
Birla Open Minds School, Bandlaguda Jagir celebrated 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' to remember India's war victory and to pay tribute to Kargil Martyrs who are the symbol of courage and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of the Country. On 26th July, 2021 students participated in various activities. Grade 1 and 2 students uploaded the video and PPT talking about the significance of Kargil Diwas. Grade 3 and 4 were involved in Slogan and Card making activity. Grade 5 to 7 participated in Essay writing and Poster Making.
The power point presentation by the teachers made the event informative and enlightening. It explained the students about the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and the sacrifices of Kargil heroes, which was also followed by inspirational and emotional videos of the war. Students were literally in tears, after watching the heart touching videos. Patriotism is a social value, the feeling of patriotism is to be inculcated at school level to make sure that student becomes the responsible citizen of our Nation.
The pandemic has confined the students to their homes, but it cannot dampen their patriotic spirit and pride for the nation. In the times of virtual learning, Birla Open Minds School, Bandlaguda Jagir had remodeled their Independence Day rituals to keep the fervor of this important day alive in students and staff members.
The students of Grade VII were asked to submit a small video talking about “What Independence means to them and about the role model who have inspired them”. The students took active participation by sending their messages through video. The students of Grade 1 to 6 celebrated an Independence week from 9th August to 13th August by making Tri-colour sandwiches, reciting poems, recalling freedom fighters and their sacrifices.
Staff Members contributed by making a Rangoli. Unfurling of National Flag was done in presence of the Principal and all the staff members.
A teacher is the eternal guru and guide whose firm and loving grooming has shaped generations from times immemorial. She can inspire hope, ignite imagination and instill love for learning .And to honor the hard work and determination towards the profession, Birla Open Minds School, Bandlaguda Jagir celebrated Teacher’s Day with great gusto and gaiety.
Students throughout Grade 1 to 7 have sent their wishes and love for their teachers through video and handmade cards. On 4th September Teacher’s Day was celebrated in the campus with the teachers. The Principal thanked all the teachers on this day, and emphasized on the significance of being a teacher.
The program was then led by the prayer followed by a peek into Dr Radharkrishan’s life and why Teacher’s Day is celebrated throught India. Teachers also played some fun filled activities and games that made their day a memorable one. It all ended with the delicious food arranged by the Admint team
"Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life". To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, a school prefectorial board was formed after scrutinizing, interviewing and selection.
The Investiture Ceremony of Birla Open Minds School for the academic session 2022-2023 was held with great pomp and dignity. The event was presided over by the Chief Guest Colonel Sanjay Garg & the Principal Mr. Prem Prakash Sahu. It was conducted with the high degree of earnestness and passion.
The Investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. We believe that the child centric approach will frame a responsible citizen.
The ceremony was held with lots of zeal and zest. It was commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by Ganesh Vandana, which signifies removal of obstructions.
The elected Leaders’ were conferred with badges and sashes by honourable Chief Guest Colonel Sanjay Garg. The students’ council took the pledge to hold the school motto of loyalty, truth and honour in high esteem. The Cheif Guest congratulated them and guided them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. He also exhorted them to uphold the values. He reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school and peers and struggles help one to achieve heights. The function concluded with the National Anthem.
As part of ‘Parent-Connect Program’ of AY 2022-23, parents of Class V-VIII participated in the Fireless cooking competition in which they had to prepare nutritious dishes which required no cooking.
The objective was to understand about nutritive value of different type of foods. They prepared delicious food items like Bhelpuri, Coconut ladoos, Sprout chaat, Rose and saffron drink, Cashew Paan Delight etc. They served the dishes in an artistic and aesthetic way which was the most appealing and treat tickling to the taste buds.
We had special guest “Ms. Sridevi Jasti’ founder and entrepreneur at Vibrant Living Foods, who herself tasted each dish and scored them on parameters of: Presentation, Taste, Nutritious value.
