Birla Institute for Teacher Training offers One Year Diploma Programme in ECCEd. The programme is in affiliation with the All India Early Childhood Care and Education (AIECCE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi). The entire programme is spread across 10 months and promises to train individuals with the right knowledge, skills and attitude required for a Preschool Educator. The entire programme is divided equally into theoretical training and practical training. All theoretical training involves interactive workshops and panel discussions. The practical training involves execution of lesson plans in school set ups under the guidance of coordinators.

The novel Coronavirus pandemic, in disguise, has been instrumental in instituting the long awaited change in education, though unprecedented in form and speed. Within a matter of few months it appeared that the future rushed towards us rather than us gradually moving into the future. We are now a new eco-system altogether, pivoted on online culture.
Schools, the bedrock of our society, stood the test of time, displayed the greatest resilience, agility and adaptability in past few months and are continuing to do so. The yeoman service of teachers in their new roles, in the new paradigm, has been outstanding.
While launching Birla Open Minds International School Bandlaguda, in an online mode on 13th June 2020, never did it occur to us that it would become the new norm. We humbly embraced the then temporary new system. Under the progressive minded directorship of School management, we immediately strengthened our R&D, our battalion of teachers switched into the Online mode in no time, created new opportunities for students each day, empowered and up-skilled them. There was a new learning each day for all stakeholders. The school soon transformed into an extensive hub of new learning, including parents.
We navigated successfully to where we are today. We take this opportunity to thank all for the trust and support in difficult times.
Since one cannot solve problems of the past by the same learning that caused the problems, it’s high time for us in education to follow the principle of learning, unlearning and relearning and yes, relearning fast. We have to be the change makers ourselves, identify and diagnose the gap and loss in the students’ learning caused by the pandemic and address it soon by the best possible strategies and tech tools along with the rest of planned curricula.
Pandemic or no pandemic, students must now be trained to pace forward, nourish soul; propel spirit to soar higher and higher on the wings of triumph. It’s time they are facilitated to meet unprecedented challenges and to become designers of their own future. A ship is safe in a harbor but that is not what a ship is made for.
The pandemic hero - the technology - is just a tool and an enabler. The pang of hunger for the human mind and the soul and his emotional diet still revolves around the holistic learning which we call education. Hence Education still remains the most powerful weapon that can change the world.

is an engineering graduate from Gulbarga University with more than 50 Years experience in the construction and Hospitality industry. He has been the founder and executive director for Viceroy Hotel (Now changed to Marriot), which has been a prestigious hotel in Hyderabad since the 1990's. His knowledge, experience and guidance will be an asset to elevate the quality of the operations of the institutions. His passion and interest in all the projects he has taken up will help in implementing discipline, principles that he has been implementing in all his endeavors.
Dr.Y. Shanti Babu
is a Surgeon by profession, a graduate from Kakatiya Medical College and Post Graduate from Osmania Medical College established Sudha Nursing Home which served the public for over 30 years. With his experience as a doctor he realized the requirement of quality Pharmacy Education and established Vijaya College of Pharmacy in 2006, which is now considered as one of the best colleges in the state. His experience is establishing a premier institute will be a great asset in establishing this school.
is an engineering graduate from Osmania University and Post Graduate from Univeristy of Massachusetts in Computer Science. He later pursued his carrer with UBS Investment bank (Swiss Bank) in NY, USA. In 2010 his personal philosophies regarding education made him return to India and focus on the development of Vijaya PG College and Vijaya College of Pharmacy. His unflagging dedication to education along with his international exposure will enable him to play a vital role in reaching the goals set in establishing the school.
Dega Vishnu Vardhan Reddy
is an Information Technology engineering graduate and also possesses a Post Graduate degree in Management Information systems. He has worked as a business analyst in the USA for government agencies as well as other reputed companies, which have given him good exposure and expertise in project analysis and management for more than 7 years. He then moved to India and started a construction company and acquired detailed experience in the same. With his interest, exposure and passion in education field started this school to provide quality education with appropriate and kind of facilities much needed for todays and future children
